installation MYSQL error
Agamemnon
Anonymous
I'm installing GL on an OBSD_3_5 server and can't get past this error. I've setup MYSQL with the user and permissions to the DB I've created and have verified that the user name can login via mysql, but still can't get past this error. So what's the dealio? What am I doing wrong? Or jus not doing at all?

setDisplayError() is a function in Geeklog's MySQL class (i.e. it's a function in Geeklog, not in MySQL), so it looks like there's a problem with your Geeklog setup.
Is this the only error you get? Make sure the file /path/to/geeklog/system/databases/mysql.class.php exists and is readable by the webserver. Also check your path settings again, specifically the $_CONF['path'] and the path you enter in the install script.
bye, Dirk
