Error.log has no entries

Hello All, I've been trying to install geeklog on Mac OSX Server 10.3, with limited luck. I've used phpMyAdmin to create a database "geeklog" and edited the files conf files. I've run the /admin/install/install.php script and have gotten to the success page. When i try and access the geeklog index page, I get the following error, "An SQL error has occurred. Please see error.log for details." When i look at the error log the following is the only entry in it "*** dummy entry ***"
Any help would be appreciated!!
Thanks,
Jason Bruder

Make sure the username entered in config.php has full right for the specified table, and besure you have set cmod correctly on the geeklog directories, I had to set them to 777 on my server (Also MacOSX 10.3 Panther)

I'm very sorry for the icon next to my name, I guess I got a bit clicky before I hit submit.
