NEEEEEEEEEED Help Very Badly...First Time With Files

Hey ive been doing raw hml on freewebs, and i really want to get this geeklog site.
i downloaded the zip file, and i tried uploading the whole zip file to freewebs, but its taking so long and i dont even know if thats what im supposed to do. is it?
Please help me install this- it would be so great for my site.

You might want to read the install documentation,first. That should help you install.

I just looked at members.freewebs.com/ourServices.jsp and I'm pretty sure Geeklog will not work there.
You need support for PHP (programming language) and MySQL (database server), neither of which is mentioned on their page.
From my experience, "free" web hosts don't support the stuff that's needed for Geeklog (or any other serious tool, as most of them are PHP/MySQL based)
Expect to pay about $5-$10 per month for a server that's actually useful.

If you need a host, you get the first month free at http://www.geeklogworks.com and geeklog is normally setup for you same day free. If you want your own plan I will offer one to you for $30/year with only 30MB of space (geeklog alone uses about 10M which is more than enough space for you at add articles. Plus you can always move up in service so you have nothing to lose. Let me know you need a smaller plan or if there's anything I can do to help you further by emailing me info@geeklogworks.com.
