When I go to the plugin panel and click on install it says:

Installation Failed -- See your error log to find out why.

The Plugin is Not Installed

Ok, here is the error in my logs:

There is a newer version avalible but it has not been approved yet, and it fixes the issue. That said my site is www.thomassoft.net and I check both site quite often.

Not many people are using it becuase its only 2 weeks old and in development still hehe.

Tried the newest build that I saw was updated the 16th the morning of the 17th.

same deal.

Its gotta suck to try to debug a issue that works fine on your own machine.

Database:

MySQL 3.23.58

Server Date:

2004-06-16 13:36:52

Web Server:

Apache/2.0.40 (Red Hat Linux)

PHP Version:

4.2.2 (Zend Vers: 1.2.0)

I'm not sure if this is the issue or not but I'm using MySql 4.0 and PHP 4.3.7.

So this is what we'll do I was already planning on leaving the default install method behind do to ...mm issues I keep having with it.

I'm going to modify the install.php file today adn see what I can tweak.

We should be able to pin-point the error a bit better tho it may not occur again once this is written :-)

I'm all for further debugging if you are willing to put up with my witty reparte every time it doesnt work. If the system will be better, I am in no hurry and can help in any way you may require.
Thanks for looking into the issue. Its nice to be able to see somebody trying, rather then ignoring or pointing blame.

Thomassoft.net shows the last update was on 6.17.04. Just checking in to see if you made any progress or changes.
