Hi folks

I'm almost to scared to ask the question, because I know we are just missing something silly here . However, here is the story.

We have mainly been using static pages. So we have a static page which is usually set to:
Position: Entire Page, Topic: Homepage Only, thus displaying on the homepage with nothing below it.

Today we decided to publish a story below this static page, so we changed the settings to:
Position: Top of Page, Topic: Homepage Only

We then created a story with the following settings:
Mode: Comments disabled, Featured, Show on Front Page

Now at this point we would have expected the story to show up on the home page just below the static page, but it isn't.

My collegue has just asked me to say here at the bottom, that we have done this before and we know we are idiots, but can someone please help!

Hi folks

In the meantime, we have discovered something else. The stories do show up if you are logged out (as admin)! However, the Members and Anonymous boxes are ticked. If I log in as moderator, the story also shows up on the front page, however, the moment I log in as admin, the story disappears. Is this behaviour to be expected, or have we lost the plot?

Have you checked your topic permissions?

We have only one topic and it's Access rights are:
Group: All Users
Permissions: Owner=RE, Group=E, Members=R, Anonymous=R.

I would say based on that, that the story should show up for everybody. Any suggestions?
