I have just installed the Faqman plugin which is working fabulously for me and I like it very much
I just want to update the template a little to suit my site. Actually all I am wanting to do is change the color of the header table Anyway, I am encountering the following error message when I attempt to update the index template from the admin/template management section.
"There was an error saving the template, please ensure that the file Index is writeable"
Does this mean I need to make the index.php writeable? If so which index.php is it? Is it the:
/public_html/faqman/index.php?
or some other file/s?
The install docs don't seem to mention specific write permissions, only read and excute permissions unless I missed something vital?
Is anyone able to point me in the right direction???
Thanks Jill
Regards Jill

Ok well I solved my own problem with a bit of good old trial & error and a bit of
Anyway for the benefit of anyone following in my footsteps and because I hate seeing unanswered questions on the forums, the solution for me was:
Chmod 666 all the files located in the following directory:
/public_html/faqman/templates
My templates now update succesfully!
