I'm releasing a links plugin soon that takes the links functionality of geeklog and improves on it. It is basically the relevant bits stripped out of geeklog and made into a plugin.
But, when I use this, I don't want to use the original links anymore. It would be nice to have the ability to turn off the links section easily (obviously I can do this myself by editing things, but this is a feature request...). If someone were to do a similar thing in the future with the caledar say, then a similar situation might arise there too.
Cheers,
Euan.
