When I try to do a Backup, i get the following message:
" There was an error.
Incorrect path or mysqldump utility not executable.
Check $_DB_mysqldump_path definition in config.php.
Variable currently defined as: /usr/bin/mysqldump "
I asked my provider for the path to my mysqldump.exe and they gave me the same path that was already defined. They said to run it through shell or something and could not " teach " me what this meant.
How can I work around this.

That doesn't sound right. If this is on a Windows server (as the "mysqldump.exe" would suggest), then surely the exe is not located in /usr/bin - and the ".exe" is missing as well ...
So, is this on a Windows server or on some sort of Linux?
bye, Dirk

It is most definately Linux, im not sure which distrobution. My provider said that was the correct path, but they had disabled something about it for security reasons, and that I should use shell or something. Here is what they told me.
Path is /usr/bin/mysqldump
However you may see problems to run it from scripts.
You better do it from shell.
