Modifying Year Drop-Down for New Stories

By default Geeklog offers the years 2003-2009 for the timestamp on a new story.

However, I am using the timestamp on "stories" to set approximately when I wrote pieces of my creative writing that I am displaying with GeekLog. Since I started writing in 1998, this presents a problem.

I can manually go into the MySQL database and change the "date" value in the "gl_stories" table as a work-around. However, with 200 pieces I would prefer to avoid this.

I looked through "/admin/story.php", but unfortunately my expertise with PHP is quite limited, and I can't fully parse in my head exactly where the drop-down options are being pulled from.

I searched these forums for "story year" and Google for "geeklog story year dropdown" but did not find anything usable.

Thoughts?

Try this thread. Searching 'story date' led me here, but I have an advantage. Been reading these forums longer than you have.
