Geeklog Forums

Hello,

I'm using Forums for discussion, and the "stories" function of Geeklog for more substantial "articles." To keep the main page clean, I would like to eliminate the stories/news.

I realize I can set the _default_ number of stories per page using limitnews and that users can override this. And I already have eliminated the "No news to display" by editing index.php.

My question is how can I eliminate the stories altogether when a topic is not selected?

You could try making a "Static Page" and choose in the Position box "Entire Page" and in the Topic box "Homepage Only". Never used it myself.

Another way that does not involve static pages. Just makes sure someone is always in a topic.
