Hello Guys,
I'm sorry to post my personal problem in this forum, please bear with me. My question may sound silly and may not fit for this website, I had nowhere else to go, but I believe there is someone here that can help me out:
Just started a new reseller business with a web hosting company. At first, 3 - 4 days all was well until, couple of days ago.
Everytime I type in my website address, I receive an error code 404. Forbbidden. I contacted the hosting company, they thought I have to remove an htaccess file that was generated in my web root through my reseller control panel.
This I did, but problem not solved. The hosting company think I should remove my geeklog file "index.php" and replace it with index.html file.
That I did, and no improvement yet, I can't login to my website anymore through my FTP. FTP always ask me for username and password, but I can still login to my reseller control panel with the same username and password issued to me by this hosting company through their secure site, what ever .
After loads of unending dialogue with this hosting company, the problem cannot be resolved. I find it difficult to understand why an hosting company will not be able to solve a problem within their service.
They are not sure if they can handle this problem or not. Because they can not give me a specific time to solve this problem. I had worked with them through the Internet in solving this problem and yet, any changes we make does not have any impact on the named question.
I will appreciate anyone who can give more information about solving this kind of problem. My hosting company said they have never come across a situation like that before. And at the end of the day, this is my problem because of the investment I put into it...
Regards
