When I click on a topic link, I get a page similar to my home page. It shows the title, date, author, etc. then the intro text. Instead, I would like just the link (as the story title), date, contributed by, and views with no intro text. My topics are going to start growing rapidly, and I just want to list the stories.

That should be easy - simply remove the text from the story templates.

Actually, I seem to remember that Simon did something like this months ago. Only the featured article appeared as normal, all the other stories were only displayed as headlines, linking to the actual story.

The story variables are pretty much documented.

bye, Dirk

If it were only that simple. The story templates appear to be used by both the front page and the topic pages. I want the story intros to appear on the front page, and only the story links on the topic pages.

I'm bumping this thread to see if anyone else has any ideas. Perhaps in your next version release, you could separate the main page and the topic pages into two files - index.php and topic.php. And then in the layout folders, add two more files - topicstorybodytext.thtml and topicstorytext.thtml.
