Hello Guys,
My webhost do not allow me to upload geeklog files in my web root directory, for security reasons they say.
My root goes like this: /home/sites/site287/web
They will not allow me to upload any file outside the web directory, so inside the web directory I created a folder called sub, which I used to represent /public_html directory so all my geeklog files were placed in this sub directory.
The following geeklog file and directories which are meant to be outside my publich_html directory were then placed in '/home/sites/site287/web/sub.
Geeklog installed successfully, but the success.php page was not found.
Does anyone know how I can solve this problem?
What an old man can see, a young man will never see even though he is standing at the top of the highest mountain.

In your case D1, the easiest would be to dump the whole stuff from public_html (from GL archive) into your web dir (as in your case web=public_html). IMHO, there's no need to create any additional sub dirs (i.e. sub)
And properly configure paths in your config.php.
