Hi,

I want to create a form that send out emails from a static page and used the internal email function:

COM_mail ("email@mydomain.com", "test", "test",'', false, 0);

but I get an error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /.../lib-common.php on line 3274

this refers to the line

COM_errorLog( $retval->toString(), 1);

any idea what I shall do to make the email go out?

Got it. I had an error in my config.php mail setup!
