I've just discovered Geeklog and have done some searches of the forums and docs, and have found descriptions of how to consume an RSS feed and present it in a Geeklog site, but don't see how to have a Geeklog site create RSS feeds for others. For instance, the Geeklog main page doesn't seem to have an RSS feed associated with it (maybe I missed it). Is this a non-feature, or am I just a not-so-clued-in-newbie...

Thanks,

Joel

Check out the "Content Syndication" in the Admin Box. Make sure your "Backend"-folder is writable.

I guess I didn't look deeply enough - however just as an FYI - that's not something that Newsgator sees on the page, nor is there any 'xml' or 'rss' icon on the home page as folks have started to get used to. To expose this in a way that Newsgator will pick up I'd just have to put a link to that file on the home page (with or without icon), right?

Thanks in advance,

Joel

Well, I have no idea what Newsgator is, but Geeklog's feed is at least announced in this site's header. If you have, for example, the Site Navigation bar enabled in Mozilla, you'll find it under "More".

Since I know nothing about this software, it's probably best to consult the manual and/or website. But an icon can't hurt ...
