Geeklog Forums

Hopefully I'm not missing something terribly obvious... Is there some way to give individual users permission ONLY to post messages in certain topics in the forum? I have different groups that I want to allow access to different forum topics. Can I integrate this functionality somehow with the standard geeklog groups? I can't find anything about this sort of thing anywhere (unless Im a blind dunce that missed it somehow).

You can create private forums that are restricted (view and post) but not be able to have public access and restricted post.

I can see that being a useful feature and will not it for the next release. If you need it sooner - contact me.

Well, obviously, I'd like it as soon as possible but I understand that everyone can't do things for me as soon as I'd like. Anyway, I'll keep watching for updates to the plugin. Thanks a lot for the response!
