Can register_globals off make my Geeklog work strange ?

I do not have admin rights in some options , like add new user , groups and so on . I cant acses some info , I press link , but I get the same page . I can't post any posts too

Where is the problem ? register_globals off ? I do not know , was register_globals on then page run well

Will Geeklog work with register_globals=off?

Thanks for info , I will try it , or I will ask my server admin to turn register_globals on tomorow
