Bug: No recovery from setting a static page to "No Blocks"
It seems that if you set a static page to "No Blocks" for layout, it isn't possible to edit the page again to reset it to anything else. I fixed this by changing the setting in the database (gl_staticpage.sp_format), but it seems that this should be possible through the UI also.
My apologies if this isn't the right place to drop a bug report (is there another place?).
Great tool so far...

Erm, did you try the "Static Pages" entry in your Admin block?
bye, Dirk

Yes. I went in to Static Pages in Admin, and then clicked the block that had been set to "No Blocks" for layout, and it then showed as full page (no other layout around it) with no "Edit" link anywhere I saw. Maybe I missed it...

Looks like it ...
The first sentence on the (Admin's) page that lists all the static pages states
To modify or delete a static page, click on that page's number below.
Does that not work?

Ahem... ... Oops... I guess I was a victim of finding the interface too easy to use and I skimmed right over that sentence . I had just been clicking on the page title in the list, and when the page is set to blank page there's nothing but the html there. Now that you point out that I had skimmed right over the key instruction... Yup it works!
Sorry for missing that. I have to say that after only a few days of fooling with Geeklog it's already won me over as the easiest of these tools to deal with by far, with what seems to be the most rational approach - and I've tried a bunch of them.
Thanks for your patience,
Joel
