Transferring to a new hosting company

If I move an existing Geeklog site from one hosting company to another, do I need to install Geeklog on the new hosting site?
Thanks,

If both your new and old hosts use the same hosting software, such as WHM with Cpanel, then they should be able to help you transfer the site, which will take about 3 minutes. Comparing to transfering yourself...
Depending on the worth of your time, I would happily pay them $10 to transfer the site if they don't want to do it for free.
BTW, nice theme!

Thanks for pointing me to the FAQ, Dirk.
Unfortunately, Rocky, my hosting company does not provide support for transferring Geeklog sites. I would gladly pay $50 or so to have someone transfer it for me.
Thanks for the comment on my theme. When I used to do web design, I had a couple of designers who did a great job of making Geeklog sites not look like templates.
