error when saving changes in the filemgmt

Hi, the installation did go OK. now i want to make some changes in the filemgmt menu, but when i hit the save changes button the following error accured in the top of my screne:

Warning: fopen(/home/agovvape/public_html/plugins/filemgmt/filemgmt.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/agovvape/public_html/admin/plugins/filemgmt/index.php on line 1195

Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/agovvape/public_html/admin/plugins/filemgmt/index.php on line 1221

Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/agovvape/public_html/admin/plugins/filemgmt/index.php on line 1222

anybody knows what i'm doing wrong???

The file /home/agovvape/public_html/plugins/filemgmt/filemgmt.php has to be writable. I'm pretty sure that's mentioned in the plugin's installation instructions ...
