Geeklog Forums

My forum moderator has no option to sticky a topic. I have checked the forum moderators editor/admin section to make sure I have him set to be able to do this, and he is. This is in GL 1.39. If I upgrade to sr1, will this fix this little problem?

Nope, since it's a problem with the forum plugin, not with Geeklog.

That is, if there is such a problem at all. To make a forum thread "sticky", you'll have to edit the first post in that thread and select "sticky topic" there. Maybe your moderator simply didn't find the option there?

that's possible.. I'll get with him to find out eactly. I tried to walk him through it, not realizing that the first post would have to be sticky. That could be the proble all together

I have the same problem. Even as Admin the first post has no "sticky" option in the drop box. I am running 1.4.0sr2 and the latest forum 2.5. Is there something I missed in the forum install?

It's not a drop down option but an option seen when editing the post or creating the initial post of a thread.
