In PHPNuke, you can add a message that appears on the top of the page, center, only on the home page. In GeekLog, I know I can add blocks but those are only right and left. Is there a way to add a center block to welcome people (like Squatty's join now area) that is center top on the front page above the featured article?

I'm using the Classic theme btw

Try a staticpage and check it as a centerblock.

I know this is an old post, but I'm working on something like this at my site for folks coming from blogexplosion... It's working I just have to get it styled correctly now.
