Unique Mail IDs Required???

Ramsay E

Anonymous
Are unique email addresses required across all users? I checked out the schema for the user database and the UID function is the primary key.

Is there any code or any functions which "require" or assume all users have unique email addresses? Or, is this simply a design philosophy held over from other systems?

Thanks,
Ramsay

The email address can also be used to request a new password. So, obviously, the email addresses have to be unique ...

bye, Dirk

Its not set as a Primary in the table, however a check is made when the account is created and/or updated to insure no duplicate emails.
