Hi gang.

Is there a way for me to configure GL to automatically assign certain rights when new user register. Other than All user and logged in user right? So that I don't have to keep checking on the user list and assigning the right to them manually. Please advise.

Thanks..

Assign rights to logged-in-users,
You'd have to set them manually in mysql since its a core group, but you only have to do it once.

Never mind.. I figured it out.

Here are the details..

go to my sql and open up table gl_groups.
find the "Logged-in Users" and change the grp_gl_core value to 0 (zero)

now log in to your GL admin groups, click on "Logged-in Users" and add the rights you want.

Save it. Go back to your mysql and change the grp_gl_core value back to 1.

That's it. Hope this help.

Take care..
