Ok, I located the path to image magick on my server, but strange things are happening when I try to upload a user photo.
When I upload a pic that doesn't exceed the max dimensions, it works fine.
When I upload a large pic with a "[' in the file name, it says:
Image, TomAndJus[1].JPG had trouble being resized: convert: missing an image filename `/home/godownt/public_html/geeklog/images/userphotos/tom.JPG'.
When I upload a large pic without a "[" in the file name, it says:
ERRORS
Mime type, application/octet-stream, or extension of TomAndJus.JPG not in list of allowed types.
What the hell!? I have config.php set to keep the original pic after the resize. Plesae help! Thanks.

Your browser isn't sending the correct MIME type for a JPEG ("octet-stream" is just a generic type for unspecified binary data). See if you can configure this somewhere or try another browser.
Also, try renaming the picture so that the extension is in lower-case.
The problem with the square brackets may have to do with the file name not being escaped properly (in Geeklog's code) - I have to look into that.
bye, Dirk

Thanks for the reply Dirk.
Looks like there is a problem with brackets.
As for the MIME type, IE seems to send the generic MIME type for any file with a .JPG extension. Would be nice if that was corrected since a lot of people use IE
When I do get past all that, for both .gif and .jpg, I get the following message:
Image, go-downtown-1.gif had trouble being resized: convert: missing an image filename `/home/godownt/public_html/geeklog/images/userphotos/admin.gif'.
Any idea why?
