Can't post anything

The GL site I'm developing is still being tested on my Mac OS X machine. I am having a problem trying to post a comment to the "Today's Featured Article" that comes up as a default. After entering a short message (as admin), the only button that shows up is "Preview". Clicking on that button gives me the message "Please fill in the Title and Comment fields, as they are necessary for your submission of a comment." Both of these were, of course, filled in before I clicked the "Preview" button.

What should I look for to fix this? Is this a permissions problem? If so, where?

Found the problem; the "register_globals" got turned off again. With it "on", posting is possible.
