little locale problem

Hi, I installed geeklog successfully, but I still have a little problem. I'm running Italian localization and all is in Italian language except of dates.. (monday, tuesday... november, december)
How is it possible?

Set the correct locale for Italy (in config.php):
$_CONF['locale'] = 'it_IT';
