IP Addy For Each User?

Hey I just realized that my Site admin tool thingies that are installed on my server have an overall block for IPs, which I imagine probably would be easier than just blocking IPs on the forums, cause then I can block them from accessing the site at all.
I'm just wondering what code I would have to put somewhere to be able to tell people's IPs when they're posting comments and posting on the forums.

one way although time consuming is to go through the access.log for the ip . then manualy block it in the httpd.conf

Another way would be to install the Visitor Stats Plugin and get the IP addresses from there.
