Is it possible to add other fields besides user name and email to the new user sign up page? I have searched this forum a few times and don't see where anyone has even asked this question.

you can but you will have to re-write a lot of code , where this section of code is depends on the theme used .
Also new tables will nead to be added to mysql

Since I barely was able to install BL that would be like Rocket Surgery. I will just leave it as is. Thanks for the reply though. I can quit looking for the easy solution now.

Geeklog has a hook for a custom registration form, so it's not that bad. But it still requires some PHP and MySQL knowledge.

bye, Dirk

Wow I guess it has been asked a few times. I do not have any PHP or MySQL knowledge but I will give it a try anyway. After a good nights sleep, a backup and a few pots of coffee I just might be able to figure it out. Thanks!
