I give a user the group status "story admin" , but they can't edit any stories unless they are a member of "root".. I don't understand. Is this whats supposed to me happening or should it work they way I tried to do it?

And it really helps! What I do is: I add the users to the topic admin group and the story admin group, seems like the best option for me.
