I'm in the middle of fixing the RSS feed blocks and have a couple of questions:
1. How far away is GL2?
1a. Is the RSS in GL2 going to be any better than GL1?
2. If I fix RSS does GL1 accept patches or would it only be a 'hack'?

Fixes I've done or am doing:
* Optionally include description content after linkable titles
* Allow RSS meta data to be included (images, links to feed maintainers etc)
* Allow a limit to the size of descriptions.
* Allow admins to limit the number of posts

These fixes are/will be on a per-block basis. A quick hack can allow global settings but I'd like to make it more controllable.

Where can i see or get the fixes you have done?
