How to display DESCRIPTION from a rdf ?!?

I'm trying to display the DESCRIPTION info from a rss (http://dwlt.net/tapestry/dilbert.rdf) but i can't get it to work 
I have added the following to the COM_rdfCharacterData function
case 'DESCRIPTION':
$RDFdescription .= $data;
break;
But i am obviously missing some thing because the the description is not showing. Does somebody know whart am i missing ?!?
