Unclear English in install directions section 1.3

The writing in the section below is unclear and possibly contradictory. Or it may not be... In any case it is confusing. Could someone perhaps give me a specific example or clearer directions? I assume I have to move the forum directory into the Xsilver et. al. directories but then the second part confuses it all. Please help!
:1.3 layout/ - Theme, CSS and Images directories.
The forum directory under your new plugins/forum/themefiles folder needs to be moved to /public_html/layout/yourlayout directory.
You will need to add the layout files to each of your site theme directory. You need to create a forum subdirectory under each theme directory and place a copy of the plugin layout

All you have to do is copy the forum directory under your plugins/forum/themefiles folder to each of your themes. So If you are using the default themes or have installed any additional themes you will have to copy the directory to each of them as well.
The directory with the additional themed templates contains a layout directory for each of the themes; Clean, Smooth Blue and Xsilver. You can replace the layout directory in those themes with those.
Follow the rest of the instructions carefully and you should be fine.
