How did he do this: here have the forum post show up where they are and how they look obviousl i know its CSS. I want to have the same feature but cant figure out how he did it. Is there a plug in. I want it to show my top new stories not the forum post though.

Not sure what you mean. I can only see the forum center block that's already included with the forum plugin ...

okay i figured out what i could do i took the story index and limited it to 10 stories, then cut the code into a center block and re arranged somethings.

And then I check geeklog today and Tom has released exactly what I did... funny how things work.
