Forum plugin censors "underline"

The underline code ("u") is censored here even though it's listed above!
Just try using it and see how it dissapears once you click "submit".
It seems to be the only code that doesn't work among the ones listed above.
Why doesn't it work?

If the forum is configured to use Geeklog's HTML filtering and the 'u' tag is not in the list of allowed HTML, then it will, of course, be filtered out ...
Personally, I think this tag doesn't make a lot of sense anyway. The only things underlined on a site should be links.

I see your point. But why don't you remove it from the forum codes too? Does it mean you can't control which codes the forum has? Or does it mean that while you can control, you still must display all of them?
I haven't installed the forum plugin so far, but I'm curious.
