Quote border

I have the latest version of forum running OK, but I notice that when someone "quotes" an article, the quote appears on a white background.

Other sites have a border and background color.

Looks much better.

Where is this set?

your theme's style sheet should hold the css for the forum. look for ".quotebox"

Hmmm, I have a forumstyle.css that contains .quotebox { color: #000000; font-weight: plain; background-color: #F0F0F0; font-family: Verada; font-size:9px; }

This file is located in ....../layout/XSilver/forum

yes you are right. however the instructions for installing the forum plugin suggested that you copy and paste that style into the theme's style sheet at layout/Xsilver/style.css for example.

then just add style for border and background color to that class.

OK, I copied the forum style to the end of the theme's style sheet.
I forced a reload of the browser.

Maybe, there is another step? I just reread the instructions...no clues for me. Still white background.

Thanks for your help. I'm new to geeklog. It seems to be the only thing that doesn't work.

did you actually change the color in the style sheet from #f0f0f0 to what you want?
and if so, try emptying your cache and then refresh your browser. hope that helps.

Yep, tried this, as well. Hmmmm, must have missed something, as everything else seems to work OK.
