Is this possible?

My site is setup so that all main users have their own hidden personal areas/stories etc, that only their friends can see.
If a user creates a story with some images, those images are all put into the images/articles folder, would it not be better to put the images in sub folders using the users name as the folder title. it would then be easy to see how much of my disk space a user has used. In fact you could put all the elements associated with a user into a users folder and keep everything nice and seperate.
Perhaps this is possible for a php guru to sort out in Geeklog 1, or is this a feature of GL2?

Or perhaps it would be pos to create a data table that lists the total file size (images etc) that registered users have used/uploaded and display this info under the admin panel.
