I set up two static pages on the new site - one as a centerblock on the home page, on as a standalone.

When I try to click through, I get 404s. And since I can't get to the pages, I can't edit them, either.

The site is http://www.millerplacebridge.com

Any ideas? TIA, as usual.

just visited your site.. you may want to edit the name of the pages, making them actual names rather than the default numbers. that's probably not the problem, but it will make finding those page names a bit easier to remember.
as for the 404's--you say that you cant edit them either, why wouldn't you be able to edit them? editing them calls pieces from the database rather than calling the page itself. so if you cant edit them, I would suggest that they weren't properly saved to the database.
manually edit your database and start again. that's the best I can offer. hope that helps.

I found the problem - checked the server and there was no 'staticpages' directory, therefore no 'staticpages/index.php.' So when I was saving them, I was saving them to...nowhere.

Made a directory, uploaded the index, cloned the pages and there it is.

Thanks for taking the time to answer. You got me thinking and helped me solve the problem.
