I was installing geeklog for the first time and I ended up getting this error message just before I got to the success.php page:

Parse error: parse error in /home/prescott/public_html/forums/lib-common.php on line 1167

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: plg_showcenterblock() in /home/prescott/public_html/forums/index.php on line 61
 


I do a bit of php programming, but I couldn't find out why there was a parse error, and I assume the second one is stemming from the first.

check your path to the config.php in lib_common and the pathes in your config.php I would say...

so check your $_conf['site_url'] whcih is set in your config.php
