HOW TO LIMIT WHO IS ONLINE

If you are refering to the "whosonline" block, that function is found now in lib-custom.php. to limit the list of names you have but to add a "...LIMIT 25" or some other number to the end of your SELECT statement.

I do not find any whosonlineblock in lib-custom.php
Any scroller in the list makes an ugly look, what almost all other sites do is placing 4 or 5 names and saying '15' more or 'x' more OR
else makes this as a centerblock at footer end where names can reside side by side

i meant to say it is in lib-common.php (in the 1.3.10 rc's anyway), used to be in lib-custom.php
re the scroll box, i guess the ugliness of it depends on your theme.

whoops, all this time I was confusing the "whosnew" block which i had in the lib-custom file.
good thing i pay attention to detail huh?
