Undelete story?

It appears that I accidentally deleted an important (and long) story (most likely by operator error, hitting 'save' instead of 'delete').. Is there an easy way to undelete it?

Not likely. The only way you could do it is if you have a backup of your DB. You could grab just that story.

Do you (or your hostingprovider) have a backup of the database? If you restore the backup in a new database you can browse it with PHPMyAdmin.

I do have db backups and PhpMyAdmin, but am not eager to start dredging at that level ... just had a brainstorm: Google Cache.

No brainstorming needed.
If you don't want to mess with PHPMyAdmin, just put the database backup in Notepad, copy the article's text from there and open up a new Geeklog article and paste it there.
