Curious if it is difficult to get GL to notify several people whenever an article, event, link, etc. is submitted.

I mean the ability of Group Notification. Add a person to the "Notify Group" and they will receive the same notifications as Admin. Would be useful in cases where a site's administration is being handled by several people (asmy site is).

Your mail server should handle this just make the admin email address an alias to several people. Or make the admin email automatically forward to serveral people. Its a fairly common and easy thing to do.
For example in the aliases file add the line
admin: bill, sue, ted@somewhere.com
Done.

If hacking the code is a big job, then this solution could probably work in a pinch. But the problem with it is that it will send ALL correspondence, GL and non-GL, to multiple people.
