Please tell me it isn't true...
I modified two topic "ID" field in the topic administration page. Then I noticed there was two topics with the same "front" name (not the ID), let's say two icons with the name "Movies", one with the old ID "Geeklog" and the new one with the corrected ID "Movies".
So, i thought I had to delete the old "wrong" topic...and I did it.
With great fear I'm now noticing ALL the articles that had the previous version of the topic disappeared. Is it true? Really?
Is there a way to recover the disappeared stories?
Thanks in advance

I have a backup 11 days old (ok, I'll learn to do them everyday) :-/
How can I revert to the old backup?
How to access the Google cache? Have I to look for direct pages for every story?

Unfortunately, you can't change the topic ID, only the topic name (that's a long standing bug). Changing the ID will create a new topic, so you'll end up with two topics which are almost identical (they only differ in the ID).
