Stories for Anonymous users

I used to have a single story that was set to be visible to anonymous users that I used as the default page when a person came to my web site. After logging in, all the other stories were then visilble as well.

Now, that single anonymous story does not display for anonymous people. I can get blocks and static pages to show of for anonymous users - just not stories. I'm using GL 1.3.9 SR2.

Does anybody know what might be happening?

Doh! - that was a mistake

I had forgotten that TOPIC level permissions have a higher precedence than STORY permissions.

Bottom line - my story was set for anonymous access, but the topic to which the story belonged, did not.

How embarrasing...
