if one already has a site can one add geeklog to a page within that site. in other words does geeklog become the site or can it be contained within a site to add dynamic info to the overall site?

I don't get your last question.

Geeklog uses index.php as the home page, and most servers are set up to find index.html first. So if you already have a site with index.html as the home page geeklog will hide behind it and you have to put a link on your original index.htmal to go to the dynamic site. The two can stand alone by themselves.

As for your last question it is yes or no, depending on what you mean.
