Geeklog Forums

I've been looking for something that allows posting in a blogging or wiki fashion and I found Geeklog from one of the sites that make use of it. Geeklog meets my needs but for a while now I've been looking for something that allows the uploading of attachments to posts (I see some discussion on images) however I haven't found anything out there that also can index the attachments for searching.

Something that can handle most common formats using Lucene as an engine should be possible. I didn't see anything looking around but I was wondering if anyone has spent any cycles thinking about it.

I mentioned the idea of attachments in this story. It may eventually be implemented some day, but don't hold your breath ...
