My web site requires people to log in to see any of it's content.
That said, is there any way that I can display a static/center block or standard html block for users who do NOT belong to my custom group "Family" after they've logged in? For users who DO belong to the Family group, they should not see the block.
Thank you for any help.

Using groups and check boxes in the permission settings of the topic, story, and staticpages, you can pretty much accomplish any inclusion and exclusion you want. Just play around with it. It is quite sophisticated.
Remember "Topics" can also be checked. So if you set a topic for the "Family" to view, then the none-family members will not see the topic. Try to combine it with other permission settings.
