Function savecomments

When going to to comment on a story, I get this message:


Fatal error: Cannot redeclare savecomment() (previously declared in /home/clayaike/public_html/geek/comment.php:238 ) in /home/clayaike/public_html/geek/plugins/spamx/functions.inc on line 151


Not quite sure why..? How do I fix this so people can comment?

Did you possibly mix a previous version of the SPAMX plugin with the new GL 1.3.10 release. GL 1.3.10 now is distributed with the SpamX plugin which includes a number of updates.

I have the same problem. Visitors cannot leave comments. I did a clean install of the 1.3.10 files. Next, I upgraded the database.

Blaines correct. You have the old version of SpamX installed. Replace the files in the SpamX plugin directory with those from the distribution. You will then have to go to plugin manager and install/uninstall/install the plugin.

To be precise. The plugin will appear to be uninstalled. Press the install button. It will give an error and then uninstall the plugin. Then press install again and it will reinstall the plugin. You will loose all your saved spam list. Go to admin and reload it.
