confused
I get some strange messages when running uppgrading.

I have deleted all the "old" files ( expt SQL database ) and downloaded all new files with same structure as before uppgrade.

Instllattions work ok until I select 1.3.9 on Current Geeklog Version

Then I get the messasge "1060: Duplicate column name 'lft'"
Ok I have check the forum and figure out that I have run uppgrade from 1.3.9 to somthing newer.

Then I select 1.3.10 instead and then i get the following message

Warning: main(/home/mywebsite/news/plugins/Array/functions.inc): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/mywebsite/public_html/lib-common.php on line 6106

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/home/mywebsite/news/plugins/Array/functions.inc' (include_path='/home/mywebsite/news/system/pear/:.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php'Wink in /home/mywebsite/public_html/lib-common.php on line 6106

Why will it look for this file. It not exist on the downloaded files from geeklog ?

I have also just uncomment the lines around 6106

// Now include all plugin functions
//foreach( $_PLUGINS as $pi_name )
//{
// require_once( $_CONF['path'] . 'plugins/' . pi_name . '/functions.inc' );
//}

and tried to run the installation, and it then swallow it and it seems to work ok, but some stranges things happends in my wesite.

This just shows that you've already attempted to upgrade the database from 1.3.9 to 1.3.10. back out the changes and begin the upgrade again.

this is most likely a problem with your server. they are probably upgrading their php atm.
give it a couple hours and try again.

I just tried to do a fresh install on a new site and I am getting the same error message about a file not found in:

public_html/test/plugins/Array/functions.inc

When I examine the geeklog package I don't find the directory "Array" or file "functions.inc" anywhere under "plugins".

They are not upgrading my web server at this time, I've already verified this.

I doubt this is the fix but I created a folder called Array under Plugins and then put a bogus functions.inc file in to the folder and now my site will load.

It would not load immediately prior to the creation of the folder and file.

This is no solution ...

I have no idea why this keeps happening to some people, but this must be something on the server's side. Try asking your hosting service.

Btw, which PHP version are you on?

bye, Dirk

Please see this post. I'm pretty sure that this is a problem with the foreach.
I don't under stand why, but 'foreach ($PLUGINS and $pi_name)' creates $pi_name as an array.

Hello all of you..

My website is up running allmost as it should be now.

I have some problem with installing filmgmt and forum, but I think that is a different problem.

Regarding my first problem with starnge things happend,
I have asked the server help desk , and they told me that they have solve the problem. They do not tell me what the problem was, but I can tell you that my problem showing up, when they uppgrade the PHP software on server.

So, if you get an similar problem, check with server provider first.

And be patient, because it took allmost 3 weeks before my site was up running.

Best reg
