I thought it used to be possible to have the default comment post mode set differently than the story post mode. But I can't find that option in GL 1.3.11. I am the only one who posts articles on my site, and I use html. Many of my visitors are not knowledgeable about html, so I want the default comment post mode to be plaintext.

I've made some hacks comment.php on my local site for testing, but I'm wondering if I've gone blind and there isn't already a way to do this in GL. If not, I'd like to add it as a feature request. Where are feature requests filed?

In config.php:

$_CONF['postmode'] = 'plaintext'; // can be 'plaintext' or 'html'

But, that affects both story posting and comment posting. How do I default to html for stories, but plaintext for comments?

Yep. You can not have different settings for them at the moment.

Hi! How about now? Is it possible to publish a story with advanced editor and comments in Plain text mode?

Yes, this would be a good and intelligent task for a developer working on the comment function. Also an option to turn off the upload of files for guests.
